About
I’m a Site Reliability Engineer focused on observability, automation, and keeping systems reliable without heroics. Over the years I’ve worked in environments like SimpliSafe, Rackspace Technology, and Vistaprint—helping teams improve reliability, reduce toil, respond effectively to incidents, and build monitoring that actually answers questions.
What I care about
- Observability that’s actionable (metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting that respects humans)
- Reducing operational friction by standardizing the basics and automating the repeatable work
- Solid incident response: clear ownership, calm comms, and learning that sticks
- Pragmatic infrastructure: Kubernetes/containers, IaC, and GitOps where it makes sense
- Using AI to move faster and build better tooling and processes
Current focus
Homelab reliability, health checks, and small tools that make day-to-day operations easier.
Off the clock
PC gaming, homelab tinkering, collecting pocket knives, watching sports, and time with my family.
